"I have a strong belief that a good dancer is an expressive, joyful dancer and person. I believe in strong, correct technique that is deeply enbedded from training. There is no such thing as a perfect dancer body. Some of the most arresting performances I have ever seen, have been executed by less than "perfect" dancer bodies' because the true essence of a dancer comes from the heart and soul."
- April Christie
"Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion."
- Martha Graham
